8:15am: Headlines

8:30am - 9:30am: Drivewear - Accelerate Your Sun Lens Business | Herb Fletcher | OD | One Hour

9:30am - 10:30am: M R Materials | Dale Clemens | OD | One Hour

Ever wonder what properties make up a 1.67 index lens or why large lens manufactures select the materials they do? This session will detail how a combination of material characteristics create a more merchandisable finish lens on which you can rely. Come learn a new set of words that better describes the underlying DNA of lenses, and the material they're made from patient discussions.

10:30am - 11:30am: Contact Lens Potpourri | Leon Montroy| CL | One Hour

This course is a series of fifty contact lens related questions varying from beginning to very advanced difficulty.

11:30am - 12:30pm: Lens Technology for Every Generation | Herb Fletcher | OD | One Hour

Different generations are facing different eye health issues depending on their age. Childhood is different for every generation, and the differences in childhood shape how we see the world, how we use our eyes and even our attitudes about eyewear. This course will explore how to prescribe and communicate with each generation and the lens technologies that address their unique visual needs and attitudes.

12:30pm - 1:30pm:  Blue Light Radiation - A Material Solution | Dale Clemens | OD | One Hour

With the need for discussion on Blue Light concerns, we will explore the different materials currently made that are good, better and best.

We will touch on those at greatest risk for exposure and how these filters perform in daylight. In this one hour session we will also address how to produce a protective lens that allows attributes like premium AR, thinness and lightness lens materials while removing potential patient ghosting issues.
